Herrick Creek wins a trifecta! Gold, Silver, & Bronze

Each year we carefully curate which spirits we want to send away for judging at the New Zealand Spirits Awards and each year since 2021, we've won awards! 

This year, we entered three spirits - our two new Moose Lake Gins, and our never before judged, Original Corn Moonshine. 

We are beyond excited to announe the results!

GOLD MEDAL - Moose Lake New Zealand Dry Gin

SILVER MEDAL - Original Corn Mash Moonshine

BRONZE MEDAL - Moose Lake New Zealand Smoked Gin

To win a gold in the prestigious, and crowded, London Dry category, is fantastic. Our post-distilled gin makes for a heavier, oilier spirit, which is what we think gave it the edge. 

For our Original Corn Mash Moonshine, this is essentially unaged corn whisky, but distilled cleaner. To see it achieve Silver among other NZ and International Whiskies, is a huge achievement. 

Finally, for a Smoked Gin to receive a medal at all, is huge. Bronze is a great accomplishment for a Gin we are only just discovering ourselves.
