Apple Pie Sour - Apple Pie Moonshine

Bright lemon meets baked apple and cinnamon in this smooth, balanced cocktail. Herrick Creek Apple Pie Moonshine gives the classic Whisky Sour a rich seasonal flavour that's both refreshing and comforting.

Served with or without egg white, it's an elegant cocktail that's surprisingly easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Herrick Creek Apple Pie Moonshine

  • 30ml fresh lemon juice

  • 15ml simple syrup

  • Optional: 15ml egg white

  • Ice

Garnish

Apple fan or a few drops of bitters

Glass

Coupe glass or rocks glass

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.

  2. If using egg white, dry shake for 15 seconds.

  3. Add ice and shake again until well chilled.

  4. Strain into your chosen glass.

  5. Garnish with a thin apple slice or bitters.

Herrick Creek Tip

If you prefer a tarter cocktail, reduce the syrup slightly. The natural sweetness of the Apple Pie Moonshine does plenty of the work already.
